Gardai are continuing with their investigations and are asking anyone with information to contact them.

Meanwhile, gardai in Donegal are warning scam involving a text message.

The text can appear to be from An Post, DPD, Fastway, Nightline or a number of other courier companies and requests people pay a small amount of money (eg. €2.99) in order for a parcel to be delivered.

Gardai say the text is sent in the hope that whoever receives it is awaiting a delivery and because the fee is so low that they will pay it or input bank card details.
