New high-standard apartment building in Sligo sets the bar for builders



A brand new apartment building in Sligo town is of such a high standard that it will present a challenge to builders and developers into the future.

That’s according to the chief executive of Sligo County Council, Ciaran Hayes, speaking about the new Harbour View development on the Rosses Point road.

It contains 14 residential apartments.

Meetings of the Sligo/Drumcliff and Sligo/Strandhill municipal districts of the council were held in the new building today (Monday).

Council Senior Architect Sean Martin paid tribute to neighbours in the area for their cooperation during construction.
