Children at risk due to traffic at Rockfield National School, Coolaney

The safety of children is being put at risk because of lack of car parking and traffic congestion at a South Sligo primary school.

That’s according to Fine Gael Councillor Dara Mulvey who says the problem arises in the mornings and afternoons at Rockfield National School in Coolaney, which has about 200 pupils.

Cllr Mulvey is calling on Sligo County Council to help deal with the situation.
