Bernard “Cocoa” Swift, Racecourse View, Cranmore and formerly Saint John’s Terrace, Sligo. Unexpectedly at Sligo University Hospital. Reposing at the Nazareth House Chapel, Church Hill, Sligo from 3.30pm this afternoon, with removal at 4.45pm to Saint Anne’s Church, Sligo, to arrive at 5.30pm. Mass of Christian Burial at 11am on Monday, with burial to follow in Sligo Cemetery. Enquires to Seamus Feehily and Son funeral directors on 071 91 71117.

 

Eileen White, nee Deignan, Drumcormack, Ballymote, Co. Sligo. Peacefully, in University Hospital Galway. Reposing at the home of her daughter Maria, Wolftone Street, Ballymote (F56 DP30) today from 4pm to 9pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday at 12 noon in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote followed by burial afterwards to Ballyrush Cemetery.

 

John Brennan, Carrowilkeen, Curry, Co. Sligo. Remains reposing at St. Therese’s Funeral Home, Curry Village, Curry, Co. Sligo (F91 NY30) on Monday evening from 5pm to 7.30pm, with removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Curry, arriving at 8pm. Funeral mass on Tuesday at 11am with burial afterwards in Rhue Cemetery.

 

Martin ‘Sam’ James, Keirns, Cavan Town and formerly of Cranmore and Garavogue Villas, Sligo. Unexpectedly in Cavan. Funeral to arrive at St. Anne’s Church, Sligo at 7.30pm this evening. Mass of Christian burial at 1pm Monday burial to follow in Sligo Cemetery.

 

Maria O’Donnell, No 2, St. Josephs Avenue, Donegal Town. Peacefully. Remains reposing at the Donegal Community Hospital Chapel from 6pm until 6.45pm with removal to St. Mary’s Church, Killymard to arrive at approx 7pm, to repose overnight. Funeral mass on Monday at 11am, with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, donations, if so desired, to the Rowanfield House Patients Comfort Fund or to The SVP Donegal branch, care of any family member.

 

Susan Scanlon, London, England and Rathmullen, Ballymote, Co. Sligo. Funeral mass on Wednesday in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote at 12pm. Burial afterwards in St. Columba’s Cemetery.
