The McSharry’s from Sligo have won RTÉ’s ‘Ireland’s Fittest Family’ television series for 2019.
Aidan, Viola, Mona and Mouric McSharry won Sunday’s final, which was recorded at Croke Park.
They finished ahead of three other families in the series finale.
Mona was also a bronze medal winner at last week’s European Shortcourse Swimming Championships in Glasgow. Her swimming exploits in 2019 saw her shortlisted for the state broadcaster’s Young Sportsperson of the Year award.
