Passing of Council Budget will alleviate businesses fears



Sligo Fine Gael Councillor, Thomas Walsh says the passing of the Council budget for 2020 will alleviate fears businesses may have had.

 

The local authority voted 12 votes to 3 in favour of the proposals on Friday, with the meeting only lasting 10 minutes.

 

Sinn Fein’s Chris MacManus and Thomas Healy along with Independent Socialist Councillor, Declan Bree voted against it.

 

Speaking to OceanFM News, Councillor Walsh says it’s a ‘very fair and balanced budget.’
