Visiting restrictions remain in place at Letterkenny university Hospital this weekend.
Management at the hospital say there are a large number of people presenting themselves to the hospital with flu symptoms.
Seán Murphy, General Manager at Letterkenny University Hospital is asking people to respect the restrictions as the most vulnerable patients are at risk.
People can carry the flu virus for up to 2 days after the symptoms have gone.
