McSharry narrowly misses out on medal in Euro final



Mona McSharry finished fourth in the women’s 100 m breaststroke final at the European Short Course Championships in Glasgow on Saturday.

McSharry narrowly missed out on her second medal of the championships, the Grange swimmer was just .04 seconds away from claiming the bronze.

The 19-year-old had claimed bronze in the 50m breaststroke earlier in the week.

The Marlins swim club member will be back in the pool for the final of the mixed relay event at 6:50 pm on Saturday.
