Naomh Conaill lose Ulster club final to Kilcoo



Naomh Conaill’s Ulster club championship adventure came to end at the final hurdle on Sunday in Omagh when they were beaten by the Down champions Kilcoo on a final scoreline of 2-11 to 2-9.

The Donegal champions had trailed by seven points at one stage in the first half – but scored two goals in three first-half minutes to reduce to half-time margin to a single point (1-8 to 2-4).

However, the Glenties men were unable to restore parity and Kilcoo’s experience and know-how saw them home by two points.
