Almost €270,000 allocated to Outdoor recreational facilities in The North West



Nearly €270,000 has been announced for projects Outdoor recreational facilities in The North West.

This comes after an announcement of €1.836 million euro from Minister for Rural and Community development Micheal Ring under the Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme.

Places in Donegal like Bealacht na nGaeltachta in Glencolmcille and the Donegal visitor monitoring project in Slieve League is to receive some of the €74.728 thousand euro allocated to the county.

The Glencarr Waterfall, Leitrim Walks, The Arroo trail in Kinlough and a upgrade to the Millrace River walkway are to receive part of the €94,000 thousand euro allocated for Leitrim.

In Sligo, The Sligo Walks Website, Lough Talt Road Walks, Achonry Walk, Coolaney River Walk and Enniscrone Coastal Walk are split to equally split the €100,000 allocated to the county.
