Canon Frederick David Swann, Branchfield, Ballymote, Co. Sligo. Peacefully in his home. Funeral service in St John’s Cathedral, Sligo on Saturday at 11am, with funeral afterwards to St Anne’s Church cemetery, Strandhill. House strictly private. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to North West Hospice, Sligo, C/o John Brennan Funeral Director.

 

Mary Connaghan, Five Points, Killybegs, Co. Donegal. Remains reposing at her residence with removal on Saturday morning at 10.30am to St. Mary’s Church, Killybegs for 11am funeral mass, with burial afterwards in the local cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to the Donegal branch of the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland, C/o of any family member or McBrearty undertakers. House private on the morning of the funeral please

 

Annie Hallinan, nee Rogan, Tullylinn, Culleens, Co. Sligo. In her 98th year. Reposing at the residence of her daughter Breege Kilcullen, Cedar Drive, Sligo (F91 AT18) from 3pm to 7pm on Sunday. Remains arriving at St. Joseph’s Church, Castleconnor, at 11:45am for a 12 noon mass on Monday, with burial afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Kilglass. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to palliative care, C/o Sweeney’s Funeral Home, Dromore West.

 

Willie Byrne, 191 Castleview, Dunkineely, Co Donegal. At Letterkenny University Hospital. Remains reposing today at his residence. Funeral mass on Saturday at 11am in the Church of St Joseph and St Conal, Bruckless, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

 

Seamus Kelly, 9 Cartron Village, Sligo, and formerly of Carricknagat, Ballintogher, Co Sligo. Former member of the nursing staff at St Columba’s Hospital, Sligo. Reposing at Kelly’s Funeral Home, Ballygawley, this evening from 5pm to 8pm, with removal to the Church of the Assumption, Sooey, to arrive at 8.30pm. Funeral mass at 12 noon on Saturday, with burial afterwards in Killery Cemetery. Enquiries to Kelly’s Funeral Directors on 071 91 67092.

 

Bernie (Bernard) Hamilton, Drumoughty, Gorvagh, Co. Leitrim, and formerly Kilmacroy, Ballyfarnon, Boyle, Co. Roscommon. Peacefully at the North West Hospice, Sligo. Reposing at Shivnan’s Funeral Home, Ballyfarnon on Saturday afternoon, from 4pm. Removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyfarnon, arriving 6.30pm. Mass of Christian Burial on Sunday at 2pm. Interment afterwards in Kilmactranny Cemetery.

 

Margaret Earley, Retired Publican. Number 3, Monien, Kinlough, Co. Leitrim, formerly of Roslea, Co. Fermanagh and Luton, England. Peacefully at the North West Hospice, the Mall, Sligo. Remains reposing at Gilmartin’s Funeral Home, Kinlough on Saturday from 5pm to 9pm. Removal of her remains on Sunday morning to arrive at St. Aidan’s Church, Kinlough for 11am funeral mass. Burial afterwards in St. Aidan’s Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired, to the North West Hospice, c/o Gilmartin Funeral Directors or any family member. House strictly private at all times.

 

The 1st Anniversary Mass for Alfie McGloin, late of 12 Benbulben Terrace, Sligo will take place in St. Anne`s Church, Sligo, on Saturday at 6.30pm.
