Mary (known as Cissie) McGonigle, Corlea, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal. At Sligo University Hospital. Remains will repose at the residence of her son John and daughter-in-law Mary, Corlea, Ballyshannon, today until 10pm. House private to family only on Friday morning. Funeral Mass on Friday in St. Patrick’s Church, Belleek at 11am, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only; donations in lieu if desired to  the Sheil Hospital Patients Comfort Fund,  C/o any family member or Peter Carty Funeral Director, Garrison, Co. Fermanagh.

 

Gerard, known as Gerry, Gallagher, Raheny, Dublin 5. Late of Ballyweel, Donegal Town. Reposing at his family home at Raheny, this evening between 4pm and 8pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning at St Monica’s Church, Edenmore Crescent, Raheny,, at 10am, followed by cremation in Dardistown Crematorium. Family flowers only, donations if desired to the Alzheimer Society of Ireland or St Francis Hospice, Raheny, Dublin.

 

Canon Frederick David Swann, Branchfield, Ballymote, Co.Sligo. Peacefully in his home. Funeral service in St John’s Cathedral, Sligo on Saturday at 11 o’clock with the funeral afterwards to St Anne’s church cemetery, Strandhill. House strictly private. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to North West Hospice, Sligo c /o John Brennan Funeral Director.

 

 

Mary Connaghan, Five Points, Killybegs, Co. Donegal. Remains reposing at her residence from 4.30pm this afternoon with removal on Saturday morning at 10.30am to St.Marys church, Killybegs for 11o clock funeral mass with burial afterwards in the local cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to the Donegal branch of the Alzheimer’s society of Ireland. House private on the morning of the funeral please. C/o of any family member or Mcbreaty undertakers.

 

Rosita Burke, Sooey, Co Sligo. Peacefully at Abbey Haven Nursing Home Boyle. Reposing at Kelly’s Funeral Home, Ballygawley this evening from 5pm until 8pm with removal afterwards to the Church of The Assumption, Sooey arriving at 8.30pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in St Joseph’s cemetery Sooey.

 

Annie Hallinan, nee Rogan, Tullylinn, Culleens, Co. Sligo. In her 98th year. Reposing at her daughter’s Breege Kilcullen’s residence, Ceder Drive, Sligo (F91 AT18), from 3pm to 7pm on Sunday. Remains arriving at St. Joseph’s Church, Castleconnor at 11:45am for a 12 noon mass on Monday, with burial afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery,  Kilglass. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to palliative care, C/o Sweeney’s Funeral Home, Dromore West.

 

Willie Byrne, 191 Castleview, Dunkineely, Co Donegal. At Letterkenny University Hospital. Remains reposing today at his residence from 5pm. Funeral mass on Saturday at 11am in the Church of St Joseph and St Conal, Bruckless, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

 

 

Seamus Kelly, 9 Cartron Village, Sligo, and formerly Carricknagat, Ballintogher, Co Sligo. Former member of the nursing staff at St Columba’s Hospital, Sligo. Reposing at Kelly’s Funeral Home, Ballygawley, this Friday evening from 5pm to 8pm, with removal to the Church of the Assumption, Sooey, to arrive at 8:30pm. The 1st Anniversary Mass for Alfie McGloin, late of 12 Benbulben Terrace, Sligo will take place in St. Anne`s Church, Sligo, on Saturday at 6.30pm.
