Connacht final disappointment for Naomh Eoin hurlers

There was no joy for Naomh Eoin hurlers in Sunday’s Connacht club junior final at the provincial Centre of of Excellence in Bekan where an impressive Micheál Breathnach side from Galway won by 1-12 to 0-8.

The Sligo champions battled gamely throughout but without three key players including team captain Tommy O’Callaghan and the Henry brothers Liam and Stephen, John Doyle’s side were always going to be up against it.
