Public consultation on proposed pedestrian crossing in Ballisodare to take place

A public consultation on the proposed pedestrian crossing in Ballisodare is due to take place next month.

A session took place last night between residents and businesses in the area addressing any issues they had with the proposed design as well as possible traffic calming measures in the village.

There will now be a public meeting taking place on Friday November 8th giving the general public a chance to voice their opinions.

Speaking to OceanFM, Sinn Fein Councillor Thomas Healy, who has been heavily involved in the project for a number of years, says funding is badly.
