Deirde Gowen, née O’Kelly, St. Teresa’s Terrace, Pound Street, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon. Peacefully, in her 91st year at Roscommon County Hospital. Private cremation has taken place. Memorial Mass will take place in St. Nathy’s Cathedral, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon on Saturday November 2nd at 1pm.

 

 

Annie Walshe, Straleel, Carrick, Co. Donegal. Funeral Mass at 12 noon today in St. Columba’s Church, Carrick with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society or the Donegal Hospice through Francis J. Curran, Funeral Director or any family member.

 

 

Andy Roohan, Fincashel, Pettigo, Co. Donegal. Peacefully, at the North West Hospice, Sligo. Removal at 10.30am this morning to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Pettigo for requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterward in the adjoining cemetery. House strictly private please on Monday morning.

 

 

Joe (Joseph) Shannon, Jamestown, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim and formerly of Mahanagh, Cloonloo, Co. Sligo. Suddenly. Reposing at his home on Tuesday from 2pm to 5pm and from 6pm to 9pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to St. Mary’s Church, Carrick on Shannon, arriving for Mass of Christian Burial at 12pm. Funeral afterwards to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carrick on Shannon. Family flowers only please, house private outside of reposing times.

 

 

Mamie Kennedy, Meenaneary, Carrick, Co. Donegal. Peacefully at Harbour Lights Nursing Home. Reposing today from 1pm at her late residence at Meenaneary. Removal on Wednesday morning to St Patrick’s Church, Meenaneary, Carrick, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. Columba’s Church, Cemetery, Carrick. House private from 10pm to 10am on both nights.
