Geevagh will play Bunninadden in the 2019 Kennedy’s Intermediate football championship final.
John Hughes side secured their place in the final with a 1-11 to 0-11 point win over St Farnan’s in Markievicz Park on Sunday.
Daithí O’Reilly’s first-half goal proving the difference between the sides in the end.
Geevagh had the benefit of strong breeze in the first-half but only led by a point at the interval. However, a strong second half performance from the south Sligo club saw them through to next week’s final.
The intermediate final will be played in Markievicz Park next Sunday, Oct 27th.
