Bunninadden stun Easkey to reach Sligo intermediate final

Bunninadden are through to the 2019 Kennedy’s Intermediate football championship final in Sligo after a deserved 2-9 to 1-8 win against Easkey in Saturday night’s semi-final, played under the lights of Tourlestrane.

Two first-half goals for John O’Flaherty’s side laid the foundation for this win.

The ‘Bunnies’ had already surprised Curry in the quarter-finals – and they backed up that win with another impressive display against last year’s All-Ireland junior club finalists.

Bunninadden now await the winners of the second-semi-final on Sunday between Geevagh and St Farnan’s.

The intermediate final will be played in Markievicz Park next Sunday, Oct 27th.
