Brexit reality — there’s no deal unless it’s passed by House of Commons

A Border Communities Against Brexit group spokesman is warning there is, in reality, no Brexit deal it goes through Britain’s House of Commons, the House of Lords and then back to the EU.

It’s expected that when the proposals come before British MPs tomorrow, there will be an array of amendments proposed.

J J O Hara says if the deal goes through, there definitely won’t be a ‘hard border’, something his group was keen to avoid.

This week, more than 8,000 people at 40 locations along the border made if clear they did not want the return or a border on the island of Ireland.

J J O Hara says what’s crucial now is what happens in the House of Commons tomorrow, Saturday.
