Sligo women’s senior football champions St Nathy’s lifted the Connacht club intermediate football title on Sunday when they beat a gallant St Joseph’s (Leitrim) team in Ballyhaunis by 1-13 to 1-8.
It’s the first time since 2007 that a Sligo club has won the provincial intermediate club championship. In fact – St Nathy’s were the last Sligo club to do it.
