A new farming initiative will present farmers in the north west with the opportunity to design a new scheme that will help support farmers.
Details of this pilot scheme were recently contained on Budget 2020 and it’s hoped it will provided potential to provide income for cattle and sheep farmers.
Commenting on the new Agri environmental scheme, Roscommon East Galway TD and former Minister for the environment and climate, Denis Naughten says it’s a project that can be good for farmers and the environment.
