Sligo Fire Service attended the scene of a fire in Cartron Estate last night.
They were called to the scene of a house on fire at around 8.10pm last night and arrived a few minutes later.
The small blaze was brought under control very quickly and there was no one in the premises at the time with no one injured in the event.
Gardaí are to carry out a technical examination and are not treating the fire as suspicious at this time; investigations are continuing.
