Muriel Berry, formerly of Greenan, Lough Eske, Donegal Town. Peacefully at the Harbour Lights Nursing Home, Killybegs. Funeral Service in Christ Church, Lough Eske at 2pm today, followed by burial in the Glebe Cemetery, Donegal Town. Family flowers only.  Home strictly private please.




Edward (Ned) Burns Ardagelly, Templeboy, Co Sligo. Peacefully at the North West hospice. Reposing at his home until 5.45 this evening.  Removal to St Adamnans Church Skreen to arrive at 6.15 p.m. Funeral mass on Sunday at 11.30 am. with burial afterwards in St Mary’s cemetery Skreen. A Shuttle bus will operate until to 4 p.m. from Templeboy church to Edward’s late residence.



Padraig O’ Grady, late of Raneany East, Laghey and formerly of Ballinacarrow, Co. Sligo. Padraig’s remains will repose at the family home at Raneany East, Laghey. Funeral from the family home on this afternoon at 2.20 p.m. for Requiem Mass at 3 p.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, Donegal Town. Interment afterwards in St. Agatha’s Churchyard, Clar. Edward (Eddie) Fitzpatrick, Killyglasson, Blacklion & formerly Esvaugh, Glangevlin, Co. Cavan. Peacefully at North West Hospice, Sligo. Remains reposing at his brothers residence Joseph at Esvaugh, Glangevlin until 6pm this evening. Family time thereafter. Removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Glangevlin arriving at 8.30pm, with Requiem Mass on Sunday at 11.30am, with burial afterwards to adjoining Cemetery.


Michael Rooney (Coolboy, Tinahely, Co. Wicklow ),suddenly at home. Sadly missed by his loving sisters Mary Clerkin, Drumkee, Kathleen Mullvaney, Sligo, brothers Eugene and Tommy, Aughamore Near, Reposing at his home in Coolboy with removal Sunday morning at 11.30 am to St. Mary’s Church, Coolafancy arriving for 12.00 noon Funeral Mass followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral will arrive to  The Cathedral of The Immaculate Conception, Sligo on Tuesday morning for Requiem mass at 11:30am with funeral proceeding to Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan afterwards. Cecil Kane, Kingsbury, London, England and formerly of Benroe, Bruckless. Remains reposing on Sunday at the home of his Sister Agnes McCallig, Dunkineely from 12 noon to 10 pm. Funeral mass on Monday at 11 o’clock in the Church of St. Joseph and St. Conal Bruckless.  Followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Michael (Spike) McCormack, Upper Rosses. Rosses Point So Sligo.  Late of Finner Camp, Co Donegal and Kilbeggan Co Westmeath, peacefully at North West Hospice, The Mall, Sligo.. Reposing at his home at Upper Rosses, Rosses Point, Co. Sligo (Eircode; F91 R796) on Sunday from 3pm until 7 pm and on Monday from 12noon until 3pm. Removal on Monday to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo arriving at 6pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday at 2pm. Burial follows in Sligo Cemetery. John Gillespie, Main Street, Mountcharles, Co. Donegal. Removal from Donegal Community Hospital, Donegal Town on Sunday at 4pm going to Gallagher’s Funeral Home, Station road, Mountcharles to repose there until rosary at 9pm. Removal from there on Monday morning to the Church of the Sacred Heart Mountcharles for 11am Funeral mass, with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.
