The Sligo Business Awards have announced that they are to award a prestigious Special Recognition Award to local experts in the county.
469 experts in Sligo – as a part of the 1st year of Failte Ireland’s Local Experts Program – are to receive their very 1st award on how Sligo local business people and members of the community have contributed to tourism and information sector of the town.
People from pubs, hotels, cafes, taxi driver and even members of the Gardai Siochana have been attending workshops to help improve tourism information and experience throughout the county.
