No ease on passenger overcrowding for at least 3 years – Irish Rail chief



The CEO of Iarnrod Eireann has indicated that there will be no new carriages provided on the country’s rail network until at least 2022. In a letter to Sligo County Council, he says while overcrowding on trains is uncomfortable for passengers, their safety is not being compromised.
