Sligo Chamber of Commerce addresses the Oireachtas Committee on Budget Oversight



Sligo Chamber of Commerce address the Oireachtas Committee on Budget Oversight this week.

They highlighted the need to ensure that rural and regional towns are economically supported.

Larger towns and cities such as Cork, Limerick and Dublin have the Living City Initiative (LCI) which is a tax incentive aimed at regenerating older areas.

Aidan Doyle is CEO of Sligo Chamber of Commerce.

Speaking to OceanFM News, Mr. Doyle says bringing such a scheme to Sligo Town would help revitalise areas.
