Motorists in Sligo have been warned to expect further traffic delays for the next umber of weeks as major roadworks continue to take place in the County town.
Long delays were reported to have occurred towards the end of last week and over the weekend as many commuters struggled with long traffic delays in and around the county town.
Conor McCarthy is the President of the Sligo chamber of commerce, He says that with the town have secured sufficient funding for a number of infrastructure projects there are unfortunately delays for a period of time.
