Sister Sylvia Parkes, Convent of Mercy, Perris, California, late of Dromahair Co. Leitrim and Convent of Mercy Sligo. Peacefully in California. Cremation has taken place in California. Sister Sylvia ashes will repose at our Lady of Mercy, 3 St. Patrick Avenue Sligo from 3pm until 5.30pm. Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11am on Saturday at St.Ann’s Church Sligo with burial of the ashes to follow at the Sligo cemetery.
Rose Byrne, nee Cunney, California, USA and late of Claddagh, Aclare, Co.Sligo. Funeral will take place in California. A memorial mass will be held in The Church of the Holy Rosary, Kilmactigue this Sunday at 10 am.

Funeral to arrive at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo for Mass of Christian burial at 11.30am Monday, burial to follow in Sligo Cemetery.
