Jimmy Sweeney retains bare knuckle boxing world title



Sligo’s Jimmy ‘The Celtic Warrior’ Sweeney retained his World Bare Knuckle Boxing (BKB) title in London’s O2 arena on saturday night, when he stopped Venezuelan Juan Carlos Prada.

Sweeney, a three-weight world champion in the sport, had won 22 of his 23 bare-knuckle boxing (BKB) bouts going into this contest was and is widely regarded as the best bare-knuckle boxer on the planet.

His opponent, Prada, was making his BKB debut on Saturday night and was an experienced professional boxer.
