FraudSMART Clinic to Launch in Sligo



A new information event by the Banking and Payments Federation Ireland is to launch in Sligo.

The FraudSMART Clinic aims to provide information about financial fraud scams, including warning signs and how consumers and businesses but particularly senior citizens on how to become more scam smart.

As part of National Fraud Awareness week, in association with An Garda Síochána, senior citizens are deemed to be the worst effected by new sophisticated fraudulent scams and are being advised on how to initiative safeguards.
