A group of concerned residents that are in opposition to a proposed wind turbine development on Corry Mountain will step up their campaign later this week when they hold a public meeting in Dromahair.
Stop the Dromahair giant wind turbines will be holding a public tomorrow evening from 7-9 p.m. in the Clubhouse in Dromahair.
The meeting which is open to members of the public will hear from a number of experts in the fields of health, the environment on the possible impact of the project on the north Leitrim area.
Information will also be provided from other community groups that have also been impacted by similar projects.
Adrienne Diamond is a spokesperson for the local group she says the meeting is aimed at providing the community with as much information as possible about the impact of wind turbines.
