Gardai in Leitrim are warning motorists of a number of incidents where eggs have being thrown at vehicles on the main Drumkeerin to Drumshanbo road.
The recent incident took place near Taromon Church which is situated outside Drumkeerin.
In one particular incident a car was hit by eggs which almost resulted in the driver to losing control of the vehicle.
Gardai have issued an appeal to parents to speak to their children about the dangers of throwing eggs at moving vehicles and the dangers it can cause.
