The 2019 HSE capital plan which was published recently is very short on details and claims to unveil several major health projects that are already well under way.
That’s according Sinn Féin TD for Sligo, Leitrim, Martin Kenny.
Deputy Kenny says the plan also does little to address the huge overcrowding in our hospitals and in particular Sligo University which is always near capacity, despite guidelines suggesting that a hospital should be no more than 80% full at any time.
