Warning signs removed at Sligo beaches

Warning notices placed at a number of Sligo beaches have been lifted.

Signs were placed preventing swimming i the water at Enniscrone, Rosses Point and Mullaghmore beaches on the 30th of August.

They were placed due to the forecast of heavy rain which could have affected the water quality in the areas.

Water samples taken on the 5th of September returned results of excellent/good water quality and the signs have now been removed.
