It’s been claimed that people wishing to get a bus along an eight kilometre stretch on one of the busest roads in the region not only have no bus shelter but also do not now where the bus stop is.
Sligo Fine Gael Councillor Dara Mulvey is now calling for a bus stop and shelter to be erected along the N4 between Castlebaldwin and Ballinafad.
At this week’s meeting of Sligo County Council, councillors supported his motion calling for the council, Bus Eireann and the National Transport Authority to work together to solve the problem.
