In this week’s Arts House, we hear about a production of High School Musical currently running in Donegal Town.

A forum will take place in Sligo on September 10th that will explore how culture, and particularly language, impacts on communities.

The play ‘Compostela’ by Manorhamilton native Miriam Needham will be staged in The Hawk’s Well Theatre in Sligo on September 6th . . .the play reflects on the 2018 referendum held in Ireland.

And we hear about how Tubbercurry in South Sligo has welcomed a film crew shooting a BBC television series based on the novel ‘Normal People’ by Castlebar author Sally Rooney.

But first, we have an interview with singer Mabel Chah, a former asylum seeker from Cameroon who spent about two years in Globe House in Sligo and who has just released her new EP.
