A Sligo councillor says there are concerns about speeding vehicles on the Keash road out of Ballymote that leads Boyle.
Cllr Dara Mulvey says the road is used by children, parents and the elderly.
He points out that although there is a 50 kilometre speed limit in the area, many motorists are not adhering to this.
