Spirited Naomh Columba comeback earns draw and Division 2 status

Naomh Columba came from seven points down to draw with Glenfin in Friday night’s Marley Travel Division 2 league game on a final scoreline of 1-12 to 1-12.

The result ensures both teams preserve their Division 2 status for next season – and at the same time all but confirms Four Masters relegation to Division 3 football.

The Donegal town club are four points behind third-from-bottom Termon with two games to go. Termon play relegated Buncranna on Sunday. If they avoid defeat in that game, Four Masters will be relegated.

New Division 2 champions Ardara will be presented with the league trophy on Saturday evening after their home game against Dungloe.
