Now talk of raising pension age to . . . 75 !

A Fermanagh councillor claims there are plans to raise the North’s pension age from 67 to 75.

SDLP Councillor Adam Gannon says this was revealed by a Tory think-tank at the weekend.

Cllr Gannon says raising the pension age to 75 would condemn thousands of hard-working people to poverty in their older age.

He says 14% of pensioners in Northern Ireland already live in absolute poverty.
