New rules for cross-border motorists if there’s a no-deal Brexit



Vehicles from Northern Ireland will not be able to drive in the Republic of Ireland without a Green Card in the event of a no-deal Brexit.

But the document won’t be needed for Irish drivers travelling to the North and elsewhere in the UK.

The British Department of Transport there says it will recognise Irish insurance discs.
