Leitrim councillor says people cannot wait years for broadband



The government is being accused of scaremongering in its implementation of the National Broadband plan by claiming that if the current deal is not signed, it could be five years before some parts of the country are able to avail of the service.

Drumkeerin, Co Leitrim-based Fianna Fáil Councillor Mary Bohan says that a thorough examination of the process should not lead to fears of lengthy delays being created.
