Eugene Drury was on his first day as a full-time fire officer when the 9/11 attacks occurred in New York. He spent weeks helping to recover body parts from the rubble. As a result of exposure to dust at the site, Eugene has now contracted brain cancer. He and his wife, Martina, are currently visiting Donegal
