New CEO looks to raise awareness of Sligo Rape Crisis Centre



The new CEO of the Sligo Rape Crisis Centre says one of his main goals is to bring the service to less accessible parts of the region and to raise awareness of what the centre does.

 

Belfast native David Madden, who has close family links to the Boyle area of north Roscommon, is a psychotherapist and supervisor with more than 30 years experience.

 

He ran a 24-bed treatment centre for women in Dublin for eight years.

 

Raising awareness about the Sligo Rape Crisis Centre, which covers Sligo, Leitrim and West Cavan, is one of his key aims:
