Donegal school affected by latest structural defects scandal



Some schools affected by the latest structural defects scandal  – including one in Donegal -may not reopen in time for the new term.

Safety issues have been identified at 17 schools, which were initially cleared for use last year after problems were discovered at 22 others.

All were built by Western Building Systems.

A number of the schools may not open until 2 or 3 days after the new term begins to allow for remediation works to be finished.
