Alleged photo-taking of children in Rossnowlagh reported to gardai

Parents are urged to be vigilant after claims that efforts were made to take photos of children in Rossnowlagh, Co Donegal.

It follows allegations that three men in a silver-coloured van, believed to be hired, were slowing driving around Rossnowlagh yesterday.

One of the passengers in the van proceeded to take to take photos of two girls and three boys, aged 11 and under, in a caravan site, according to Friends of Rossnowlagh Beach on its Facebook page.

The van subsequently travelled into Bundoran.

The children ran away and alerted a parent who contacted Gardai, who are investigating.
