To recover your property if it’s stolen, get it marked in Sligo this Wednesday

People in Sligo are being urged to get their property marked with the Telesis machine.

The property marking machine etches a persons Eircode, which is required on the day, onto their items so that Gardaí can trace ownership in the event of theft.

The device will be in The Village carpark in Cartron on Wednesday from 12pm to 4pm, and is free for those attending.

Fine Gael Councillor Thomas Walsh is urging people in the area to get their items marked.
