A Sinn Fein councillor claims concern is growing about potential health consequences from 5G masts.
Cllr Thomas Healy says there is a need for a better communications system but not at the expense of health or the environment.
He has now organised a public information meeting for Friday, August 16th at 8pm in The Teeling Centre in Collooney.
Among those invited to the meeting is a group from Enniscrone concerned about proposals for a 5G mast in their area.
Cllr Healy says he has not yet received confirmation from the ESB that it will send a representative to the meeting which, he added, is meant to be informative, constructive and non-adversarial:
