Sligo newly weds Fionnuala Carter and Vinnie Quinn had a wedding reception with a difference last Saturday after their original venue – Coney Island near Sligo – fell by the wayside….literally, after high winds made their reception marquee on the island unusable.
Instead, the couple and their 350 guests were hosted by Sligo rugby club, who stepped in to offer their facilities as a reception venue.
