Saturday’s GAA club championship results



SLIGO
Calry/St Joseph’s made it three wins out of three in Group 2 of he Belfry senior club football championship in Sligo with a 2-10 to 0-8 win against Drumcliffe/Rosses Point at Kent Park on Saturday evening. The win moves Calry clear at the top of the group with two group matches to go. View the latest group standings here.

Kevin Giblin’s Coolaney/Mullinabreena consigned Eastern Harps to their third consecutive defeat in the same group after Kevin Giblin’s side ran out 0-12 to 1-7 wnners in Bunninadden.

In Group 1, county champions Tourlestrane will play Tubbercurry on Sunday evening in Curry in a repeat of last year’s county final. Throw-in is at 6pm. At the same, time St Mary’s meet St Molaise Gaels in Ransboro.

Group 2
Enniscrone/Kilglass 1-9 St Pat’s 0-9
Geevagh 3-11 Bunninadden 1-8.

LEITRIM
Melvin Gaels got their first win in Group 1 of the Leitrim Connacht Gold senior football championship with a comprehensive 5-16 to 1-9 win against struggling Gortletteragh.

Glencar/Manorhamilton maintained their impressive start in the same group with a an eye-catching 14-point win over last year’s county finalists Mohill (1-20 to 1-6). The north Leitrim club led by 0-13 to 1-0 at half-time and this victory assures Shane Ward and Kieran Cox’s side of  a quarter-final place. View the latest group standings in Leitrim here.

In Group 2, holders Aughawillan got back to winning ways after last weekend’s loss to Seán O’Heslin’s when they beat Dromahair by 0-20 to 1-9. Seán O’Heslin’s Ballinamore are top of Group 2 after a 3-8 to 0-6 win against St Mary’s; Kiltoghert.
