A countrywide weather warning has now ended – but there’s some more bad conditions expected this weekend.
A status yellow alert was lifted at seven o’clock this morning after heavy downpours overnight.
Up to 40 millimetres fell in some places.
A tree has been partially blocking the road on the N15 on the Grange side of Drumcliffe in north Sligo.
And in Leitrim, a fallen tree was blocking the N16 near the turn-off for Glencar.
Meteorologist Cathal Nolan – from the Midland Weather Channel – says there could be more flooding over the next couple of days:
