One of the biggest events in the west of Ireland gets underway this weekend in South Sligo.
It’s the Tubbercurry Old Fair Festival, which begins this Saturday and continues until the Old Fair Day itself on Wednesday next, when Ocean FM will be broadcasting live from Tubbercurry.
The fair day is now in its 34th year and has grown annually. It now has a packed programme for what is a five-day event.
